Royal LePage Grand Valley Realty Profile

Royal LePage Grand Valley Realty had its beginning in 1985. The company started out as Yahn Realty and grew very quickly to become the MLS Sales Leaders for the Real Estate Board of Cambridge in 1986. In fact, over the next 10 years the company established itself among the strongest offices in the region in sales volume, being MLS Sales Leaders in Cambridge six of the next ten years.

In 1995, the company joined the Prudential Real Estate network, with over 2100 offices and 66,000 sales representatives across North America and became known as Prudential Yahn Realty.

In 1996, the company was purchased by Keith Church and Jose Bairos. Later, the name was changed to Prudential Grand Valley Realty. In 1998, the company acquired the former Sutton Group office and expanded into the Kitchener-Waterloo market. The company has now grown to be the third largest real estate company in terms of sales volumes. In 2011, we sold over 1400 properties with over 110 sales representatives. The company philosophies continue to be good service and working in the best interest of our clients.

In 2012, Brookfield Real Estate purchased the real estate division of Prudential Financial.  Through this, it became advantageous for us to convert to the Royal LePage Network, which is also owned by Brookfield.  In August, 2012, we became Royal LePage Grand Valley Realty.  Royal LePage has over 14,000 agents nationally and over 600 offices.  In Waterloo Region, there are now over 250 Royal LePage agents
